The two bays have lovely, large sandy beaches making them perfect for your family holiday. Peasholm Park is also close by, where you can hire pedaloes and rowing boats to go around the lake and see the stunning gardens.
Scarborough is famous for its theatres. There is an outdoor theatre which stages concerts by some of music’s big names, and then there is the Stephen Joseph Theatre which is famous for the premieres of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays. The YMCA also provides some excellent entertainment throughout the year. The cricket festival is held every August, and once again is just a short stroll from Signals Court. It has been held in Scarborough since 1876, and has seen many famous players attend the festival. A bus stop can be found just 200 yards away, making getting around extremely easy. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
