On stepping into this beautifully furnished apartment your eyes are sure to be drawn to the incredible sea panorama, where the horizon stretches between the castle up on the hill, right over Scarbrough and the iconic Spa with its Victorian theatre, all the way down the coast with the long golden beach stretching into the distance. This gorgeous apartment is presented to a very high standard, with character as well as a touch of luxury. The open plan living area has huge glass windows opening up onto the balcony where you can soak in the incredible views. An ideal space for socialising, here in this bright and spacious room you have the dining area as well as the living area taking in the sights, with the well equipped kitchen through an adjacent archway. There are two bedrooms, the master bedroom boasts a glorious kingsize sleigh bed, and the second is a well presented double bedroom. The apartment is completed with the bathroom which has a bath with a shower over.

Within seconds, guests can be sitting on the beach or paddling in the sea, and there are plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants within close proximity. The town of Scarborough, with its selection of shops is only a matter of yards away. It is an ideal base for couples or families looking to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire. There is a choice of two bays to explore; the South Bay which the apartment overlooks, has all the hustle and bustle of a traditional seaside resort, with donkeys, amusements and pleasure steamers, including the famous pirate ship. The North Bay is much quieter, with a long promenade to stroll along, and at the end the guests will reach the Sea Life Centre. Scarborough also has a 12th Century castle, which has breath taking views across the coastline, with many events around the year. The town of Scarborough has much offer in the form of the Rotunda Museum, the art gallery, the famous Scarborough Spa, Peasholm Park with oriental gardens and boating lake, Alpamare water park, as well as one of the largest open-air theatres in Europe. There is something for everyone.

Further down the coast you have the neighbouring coastal destinations of Bridlington, Filey, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Flamborough and Bempton to discover. Or inland you have the wonderful North Yorkshire Moors to explore, with moorland and ancient woodlands with miles or walking and cycling trials. Through all the seasons this is a great destination, enjoy the beaches in the summer, watch the roaring waves in awe through the winter, and on New Years Eve, you can watch fireworks over the town from the comfort of the living room. Beach 100 yards.

About the local area

Scarborough is situated at the southern end of the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast and, together with Filey, offers beautiful beaches, coastal walks and a variety of entertainment for the whole family.

Scarborough is a town of two halves, with South Bay full of amusement arcades, fish and chip shops and donkey rides, whilst the more genteel North Bay is home to several parks and grand Victorian buildings. The whole family will want to take a trip on the miniature North Bay Railway, which will take you to Sea Life Centre and to the Historic Water Chute and Boating Lake.

Filey is a small traditional seaside town, home to an award-winning museum and a nature reserve that is a haven for wild birds. The town is situated at the eastern end of The Cleveland Way, a long- distance footpath that skirts the Yorkshire Moors and has many beautiful walks with stunning views to offer. Kids will love visiting the Alpamare waterpark for all kinds of aquatic fun, with slides, waves and much more to enjoy.

Within easy reach is the famous Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo, which has something to offer every member of the family, from thrilling white-knuckle rides to children's entertainment. For something really out of the ordinary, pay a visit to Pesky Husky, where you can take part in a kennel tour followed by walk or even a trek with these charismatic dogs.
