Swalebeck House is an outstanding detached property situated within the Yorkshire Dales National Park in an elevated position beside the village Inn and commanding spectacular views down the dale from all elevations.  This delightful holiday home has been lovingly refurbished to an extremely high standard and furnished with a beautiful bespoke kitchen and stylish lounge complete with wood burning stove.  A charming paved patio wraps around the house complete with garden furniture and barbecue, with steep steps at the rear leading to a raised lawned garden.

The property has oil fired central heating and comprises:

Excellent footpath walks direct from the door span Swaledale and Arkengarthdale, ensuring a perfect location for the outdoor enthusiast. The popular village of Reeth is approximately 4 miles to the east with the bustling market town of Richmond beyond. Local craft workshops displaying their skills may be enjoyed along the dale to include hand thrown pottery, art, rug making, Swaledale Woollens and many more!

Richmond Castle

Richmond Castle, on a cliff above the River Swale near the town of Richmond is believed to be one of the oldest stone-built castles surviving today. The most impressive and best preserved area of the castle is the Great Keep, which stands over 100 feet tall.

Bolton Castle

Completed in 1399, Bolton Castle has a rich past including connections with Richard III and Mary Queen of Scots who was imprisoned here in 1568 under orders from Elizabeth I. Open all year round.

River Bain
