High House sits quietly at the top of the small Upper Wensleydale village of Sedbusk in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The attractive courtyard with seating to the front of the house is the perfect place to enjoy the tranquillity of the area. With a double, a twin and a small bedroom to the rear, the cottage is the ideal place for two couples sharing or for a family. There is oil fired central heating and a woodburner in the lounge provides extra warmth during chilly evenings. A porch to the front acts as a perfect boot room for walking gear. Walks for any ability may be found direct from the doorstep, and the cottage provided the ideal base for a walking holiday with the Pennine Way passing through nearby Hawes.

Sedbusk is just over 2 miles from the bustling market town where you will find a wealth of amenities such as shops, pubs and restaurants along with craft museums such as the Ropemakers and the Dales Museum not to mention the Wensleydale Creamery producing a variety of world famous cheeses on site for you to sample. Hardraw Force, England’s longest single drop waterfall is a short distance from the cottage and worthy of a visit. For those wishing to venture further the ‘Buttertubs’ Pass is a route through stunning scenery taking you into the quaint village of Muker in Swaledale and is not to be missed!
