All on ground floor level with a multi fuel stove in the living area and under floor heating throughout, the cottage is very well presented providing a perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday with care and attention to detail. A warm welcoming ambience is assured at any time. After a day walking and touring, the cottage patio is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the warm sunny days.

About the local area

Surrounded by open countryside with views across to the scenic Wensleydale Railway it is an excellent base to explore the delights and natural beauty of the stunning Yorkshire Dales. Walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep, with the Pennine Way and Wainwrights Coast to Coast Walk close by or cycle the quiet country lanes of this beautiful corner of Yorkshire. Along the Dale is the medieval Bolton Castle which is well worth a visit, and nearby Aysgarth offers picnic areas, riverside walks and the impressive Aysgarth Falls. The local country inns serve real ales and delicious Yorkshire food with shops and restaurants in the market town of Leyburn just 1/2 mile away with further amenities in Hawes and Richmond each within 1/2 hour drive.
