Enjoying stunning panoramic views towards Pen Hill and far reaching views across the surrounding dales, it is an excellent location for walkers, cyclists, artists and photographers. After a day exploring the natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales the garden provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity or dine al-fresco on summer days and evenings on the private sitting area at the rear of the cottage. About the local area

Along the dale you will discover the spectacular Aysgarth Falls, National Park Visitor Centre and Nature Reserve, picnic areas and pretty riverside walks. The Wensleydale Railway travels through beautiful unspoilt scenery and can be joined at nearby Redmire station. The market towns of Leyburn and Hawes each have individual shops, restaurants, tea rooms and pubs along with the famous Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes.
